Dear Community,
Some of the most impactful experiences I’ve ever curated have one thing in common:
they invite people to slow down, really see each other, and explore their shared humanity.
Honestly, it can feel like magic. These gatherings remind me that a new way of being together — softer, deeper, more connected — is not only possible, it’s necessary.
Because when people connect meaningfully, beyond small talk and surface-level updates, something shifts.
The air feels lighter. The room feels alive. And the kind of life-changing, world-shifting work we all dream about suddenly feels within reach.
Bringing the experience home
I’ve been lucky to bring these kind of experience to organizations and collectives across the country — from team retreats to community convenings. This month I’m curating one here at home, New York City.
I’m partnering with dear friend books to curate an evening that skips the small talk and invites real connection. A space to listen deeply. To share openly. To be shaped by the stories we tell — and the ones we hear.
Join me for a special evening of:
• Conversation that nourishes
• Connection that reminds us what’s possible
• Community that feels like an exhale
Date: 11/12, 7p.m.
Location: dear friend books in Brooklyn

Feel free to share this with others who’d appreciate an evening like this.
I know not everyone reading this is in or near NYC. No worries, similar gatherings may be coming to your city soon. 🌻
